Printed on high-quality card stock and presented through a refined, Bauhaus-inspired design, each edition features a series of double-page portraits celebrating individual dogs and the stories behind them.

Sick Dogs for Sick Dogs is conceived as more than a photobook. It is a collectible object created in service of something larger: improving the health and wellbeing of companion animals through veterinary research.

Supporting canine welfare

Proceeds from every book sold contribute to a dedicated research grant with the Australian Companion Animal Health Foundation (ACAHF).

The ACAHF supports veterinary research that advances our understanding of the diseases and health conditions affecting companion animals, particularly dogs and cats. Its work helps expand scientific knowledge around the causes, treatment and prevention of clinical disease, with the potential to improve the quality and longevity of animals’ lives.

Australia has one of the highest rates of pet ownership in the world, with millions of companion animals forming an important part of Australian households and families.

Through Sick Dogs for Sick Dogs, we are proud to support research that might otherwise struggle to receive funding. Veterinary research of this kind is often ineligible for traditional government or university funding and relies heavily on philanthropic support, gifts and donations.

That is the purpose of this project: to celebrate the animals we love while helping fund the research that may allow us to care for them better.
